My newest handsome friend. The story is about a crowd who wanted to harm a beloved colonel by commission him to a deadly place and assassinated him there, but he's back with his loyal army ... inspiration from the count Monte Christo and my old artwork (His first Love Letter from my gallery).

Few days with PhotoshopCS2 and WacInt3, no photo references, hope you guys like it

Hallo,
It's my 5th artwork - the newest one. The idea occured long time ago after I watched Monster Inc - one of my favourite films from Pixar. The story here is a date between a Beauty n a Dragon. The Dragon comes late, so ... U guess the rest

I took me around 30-40 hours, I dont remember exactly cos I have had no time to draw continously, just litle by litle, day by day, I've been so busy these days.

Anw, hope u guys like it. Am longing for yr crits again.

Thanks

Batman Clipper

Hi, this is my 2nd ship in CG. I first wanna draw a tall ship with sailparts that take after bat wings' form. The background should have been a vortex taking up water towards a cloudy sky. But then I found the idea so greedy so I threw the vortex and the mountain of water away and let only the ship alone on sea.

After my 1st ship, I went easier with building the perspective of the 2nd ship, but still too hard with the details of the sailparts. Anyway I could do no more. I would rather draw another one than sink into that mess of rigs and ropes

Some nights with PhotoshopCS2, Wac Int3 and mouse. Hope u guys like it and give me much more crits. Thanks

Hallo, bros, far so long time no join CGTalk cos am too busy, it's sad I must say
This is my first matte-painting (If it can be called a matte-painting). I draw the whole parts of mountains, rocks, clouds, trees, hi-tech buildings, lightening, coloring ... and take some photo references from parts of the sun, water surface and most far side buildings. I want to combine simple things that we can see in real world (at least in Vietnam) n some futuristic things in a scene. U can see here a vintage ship that I draw after a real ship - the Emerald - a ship used to run long time ago during colonial period in Vietnam.

Still PhotoshopCS2. Mouse n Wacom Int3. Crits always welcome. Thanks.

All drawn with PhotoshopCS2. This is also the first time I try drawing rocks n clouds, n even a waterfall. It takes time. Sorry for my bad english n hope u like the artwork.
